Questions
Do I also pay for the AI?
Genie uses an AI service you choose (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, DeepSeek or NVIDIA) with your own API key. Any charges from that company are between you and them, and separate from your Genie subscription. Some of them have a free tier.
What do I need to run Genie?
An Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or newer) running macOS 26 Tahoe or later, and an internet connection.
How do I buy?
Sign in on your account page with Google and choose Buy Genie. Once the payment goes through, your key appears on that page. Paste it into Genie and you're set.
How do I cancel?
Go to your account page and choose Manage subscription. Genie keeps working until the end of the year you've already paid for, and won't charge you again.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. You get a full refund within 14 days of any payment, including yearly renewals, with no questions asked. Email contact@genieplus.me or use the link in your Paddle receipt. See our refund policy.
Can I use one key on more than one Mac?
Each key works on one Mac. Getting a new Mac? Email contact@genieplus.me and we'll move your key over.
Will the price change?
If it ever does, we'll tell you before your next renewal, and the new price only applies from then.
Why is the price shown in my currency?
Paddle may show the price in your local currency at checkout, and adds sales tax or VAT where your country requires it. The total is shown before you pay.
